Does Anyone Know Of A Blues Radio Station In Southern California ? I Live In Riverside…?

Recently I started listen to the blues on satellite radio at work. I do not have this at home or in my car I was wondering if anyone knew of any blues stations that I could try out in my area.
I live in Riverside but easily get stations from Los Angeles and Orange County so of you know of some there I would be grateful for your help.
Also if you know any basic blues artists or compilation albums that are a must have feel free to recommend such.
I really dig the sick solos I hear. I’m very new to blues music.
Thanks, Cory

Im 18, And Live In Las Vegas, Im Thinking Of Moving Back To Riverside Ca?

Im 18 years old, I’ve lived in Las Vegas NV, for 4 years and I hate it. Im miserable out here, I cry myself to sleep almost every night. Im originally from Riverside CA, and I would do anything to move back. I have no family out there, only a few close friends. I was going to find a roommate and go to college out there. I dont have much money because I just bought a car. I would like to start school in the fall. I dont know if I should just take a chance and go now, and hope I find a job quickly, or stay in Las Vegas, and save money and start school in January. Please give me your honest opinion about this.

Southern California Car Accidents – How Texting Can Affect Your Safety

As mobile phones become more prevalent in today’s society, they are making dramatic differences in how we communicate.  Mobile phone users can be reached anywhere, at any time, and for any reason.   The constant need for communication has spilled into other facets of life, including driving. While mobile phones have allowed for dramatic increases in productivity, they are becoming a major cause for concern for motorists and a culprit for the high number of California auto accidents.  Whether you are in San Bernadino, Riverside, Santa Monica, or any other heavily trafficked location, chances are you have either used a mobile phone, or witnessed another driver using a mobile phone while driving.

According to the Cellular Telephone and Internet Association (CTIA), the number of monthly text messages reached 110.4 billion in December of 2008, an increase of over 10 times the amount three years prior.  Here are a few more scary statistics about the use of mobile phones while driving:

- Every day in 2008, over 800,000 people were using a mobile phone, texting, or calling while driving in the United States, making wireless devices the No. 1 source of driver inattention.
- Almost 50% of all drivers between the ages of 18 and 24 are texting while driving, and agree that texting is their number one distraction while operating a vehicle.
- According to the Virginia Tech Driving Institute (VTDI), distraction caused by dialing a cell phone increases the risk of accidents by 2.8 times, and distraction caused by texting increases the risk of accidents by 23.2 times in comparison to normal driving conditions.

The prevalence of mobile phone use while driving has caused a number of different states to enforce legislation.  As of September 2009, a total of 18 states including District of Columbia have effectively banned all drivers from cell phone text messaging while driving.  In California, as of January 1, 2009, the Wireless Communications Device Law makes it an infraction to write, send, or read text-based communication on a cell phone, while driving a motor vehicle in California.  While there is a fine for this infraction (first offense is $20 and a minimum of $50 for subsequent convictions), the real issue at hand is the increased risk in causing a serious auto or truck accident.  Serious accidents can result in severe injuries, high medical bills, wages lost, and vast amounts of pain and suffering.

If you have been injured in a California truck accident, car accident, bicycle accident, or motorcycle crash that was caused by a motorist that was distracted by the use of a mobile phone, you need to ensure that you contact a Southern California Auto Accident Attorney.

Family Legal Decisions: Legal Separation or Divorce?

When their marriage is on the rocks, some couples are reluctant to jump directly into a divorce in the hopes that the problems can be resolved. They search for alternatives that will allow them time apart to review their situation and to have time to determine if a divorce is the only solution to their marital issues.

Some couples think that a Riverside county legal separation is this time out of sorts from their marriage and the alternative to divorce that they have been searching for. However, a Riverside county legal separation is not a minor undertaking as some may assume. There is a large amount of decision making that couples must go through and a legal separation can be just as stressful as a divorce. Family law is available to help with this process though and can assist with the decision on which is the best action for the spouses to take.

A Riverside county legal separation involves legal action within a court, much the same as a divorce settlement, only, in the end, the couple is still married. When a separation is filed, the court is given the authority to make rulings regarding the marriage. These rulings can include the division of marital assets, assigning custody and stipulating support payments if children are involved, and deciding who will be required to pay what debts. Although a legal separation involves many of the same actions as a Riverside county divorce, the spouses are required to file additional paperwork to turn the legal separation into a Riverside county divorce if the separation does not produce the results they were seeking when entering the situation.

Unlike a Riverside county divorce, both spouses have to agree to the Riverside county legal separation. Additionally, unlike a divorce, there is no waiting period to complete a separation. There are several reasons why separations are chosen instead of terminating marriages. Some reasons why spouses choose a separation instead of a divorce include religious views (if divorce is against their religion), and also if a spouse is in need of ongoing medical attention and needs to remain eligible for medical insurance that would be lost in a divorce.

In addition, unlike a divorce, after a Riverside county legal separation is completed, a marriage is still in effect, although it is only in name. This means that, although the responsibilities of a marriage are no longer required of the spouses, neither spouse will be able to remarry unless a divorce is completed.

Family law can help a great deal in deciding whether to file for a Riverside county legal separation or a divorce. There are many factors to weigh and a legal professional is equipped with the knowledge to effectively address those factors. A legal separation is not just a time out from a marriage and family law can help spouses understand this and take the action that is appropriate for their situation. It is a stressful time when marriages fall apart and spouses have many factors to weigh before they choose the route that is best for them.
